Coaching Bio:
 
  • 2018-2019 will be my 10th year coaching at Northern Lights. I will be coaching the 14-2 team this year. In the past, I have coached 15s (2 years), 13s (2 years) and 14s (5 years).

  • 2017 & 2018 Varsity Assistant Coach for the Academy of Holy Angels. 2017 AA State Tournament 3rd Place.

  • I've spent 6 years coaching the Fall Clinic/League at Northern Lights and 4 years coaching at the summer camps/clinics.

  • I helped out with my HS team in the early '90s while in college. My emphasis was on helping the setters. The team won state championship while I was helping out.

  • 3 years high school volleyball, starting setter for 2. Conference champs as a senior.
    •  
  • JO volleyball 1 season. Coached by Barb Viera, U of Delaware coach.

  • Miscellaneous gym & beach volleyball leagues & tournaments over the years.
    •  
  • Volleyball gym brat who followed my Dad and his volleyball teammates begging someone to pass or set with me on the sidelines.

    Personal Bio:
     
  • I've been coaching at Northern Lights since 2009, but decided in 2014 to join the full-time staff.
    •  
  • Married for 19 years to David Morrison. Abby (17 years old, 12th grade) is my only daughter.
    •  
  • Ironically, Abby wants nothing to do with volleyball. She has chosen Equestrian as her sport of choice. So if I'm not at the Warehouse, chances are I'm at the stable.

  • Originally from the great state of Delaware (though I've been in Minnesota for close to 20 years now).

    Favorite Volleyball Moment:
     As a player, winning our first ever conference championship for my school (first one in 20 years). As a coach, I have had many great memories across the years and the teams. However, nothing can quite beat being at the top of the national tournaments. 2015 13-2 2nd place at AAU's, 2017 14-2 2nd place at AAU's and 5th place at USJO's.
